McTominay was related with the Manchester United academy from the age of six subsequent to going to the club’s development centre in Preston.
Having played as a middle forward in the prior long periods of his youth career, but Warren Joyce made McTominay play as a central midfielder during his stint as Manager of the youth team
He signed his first professional agreement in July 2013 He showed up for the Under-18s somewhere in the range of 2013 and 2015, however he struggled to cope with the team due to his small nature.
