Delete Your Account Online
- Go to www.indeed.com
- In the top right corner of the screen, select ‘Sign In.’
- You can access your account by entering your email address and password. You may also login in to your Indeed.com account using your Google or Facebook credentials.
- Click your email address or name in the top right corner to access your account. Select ‘Account’ using the drop-down menu.
- You will be routed to a page containing your account’s configuration options. Select ‘Close My Account’ at the bottom of the page.
- You will be asked to select the reason you’re leaving. Choose the option that most applies to you. The options are:I recently found a job and/or I am no longer searching for a job.
I don’t want my resume to be posted publicly.
I receive too many emails or job alerts.
I have multiple accounts and want to consolidate them.

- Click on ‘Close My Account.’
- You will be notified via email that the account has been closed. This action is irreversible, therefore if you close your account, your application history will be deleted.
When you delete your account, you will no longer receive Indeed marketing communications. However, you will continue to receive communications from prior employers with whom you had contact.
If you establish a new account using the same email address, your prior email settings will be applied immediately.
